Is Breakfast The Most Important Meal Of The Day

The importance of prioritizing breakfast is often neglected. Eating a well-rounded breakfast replenishes the body’s supply of glucose to boost energy levels and concentration, kickstarts the metabolism, and can help stabilize blood sugar levels. Starting the day with a high-quality, nutritious meal nourishes and satiates the body, helping to prevent the over-consumption of calories throughout the rest of the day 🥑 🍌🥚

There are a million excuses as to why people can’t or won’t eat breakfast. Most of these are time or work-related excuses. Maybe you wake up for work really early in the morning and think you don’t have time to prepare or eat breakfast. Maybe you struggle to stomach particular ‘breakfast foods’ in the morning.

What can we do to solve these problems? 🤔
🔹 Meal Prep – Prepare your food the night before. If you don’t have time to do this every night, set aside a time of the week to meal prep for the whole week so that you have breakfast available to grab and go! 🏃‍♂️
🔹 Eat at Work – Do you have the opportunity to eat on the way into work, or when you get to work? Even if you have five minutes during your commute or when you arrive, use this time to eat. If easier, see if you can store your breakfast at work so it is already there for you.
🔹 Get into the habit of setting your alarm 10-15 minutes earlier than usual to make sure that you have time to eat ⏰
🔹 Try eating ‘Non-Breakfast Foods’ – Break the conventional thought process behind what society considers as ‘breakfast food’. You don’t have to eat eggs every morning (although, eggs are delicious 🤤). You can eat anything in the morning, as long as it has sources of healthy fat, protein, and greens in particular to start the day off right 🥘

If you prioritise eating breakfast, you will make time for it! 🍳
